Be Yourself!!

It's funny to think that in less than 2 months 2015 will be over. It's been a strange year that's for sure. One that I will remember.

It's been a year for hellos and goodbyes, fresh starts, new memories, firsts and lasts trial, and error but mostly it's been the best year for me learning about myself.

I've learnt that I a much stronger person than I think I am and you lot reading this are too. It's a lot more easy to realise than you think so here's some ways of helping you to notice this.

1) say yes more!
If an opportunity comes your way like a trip, a job interview or something that you wasn't expecting say yes. This year I have said yes to so many things and maybe if they weren't all good in the short run, in the long run, like now it was a good thing. I learnt things about myself through doing this. I went places I never thought I'd go. I saw things I never thought I'd see and it's made the year so good.

2) be confident
Just be confident in yourself. Allow yourself to express who you are. Stand your ground and look after yourself, don't let people push you around. Be the bigger person. If on the inside you're not confident, put a brave face on and hold your head high and be PROUD to be yourself.

3) be yourself!
Although I say be confident don't let yourself get lost in the busy world. Yourself is the best person of you and people love you for it.

Favourite things about Christmas!

Hi everyone

Halloween has gone and that means it is the countdown to Christmas, so I know its still a little early but I thought I would be ahead of the game and give you my top 5 things about the Christmas season.

1) Christmas Lights!

I'm a sucker for fairy lights  and always get ahead of the game when buying them to decorate my room- this is something I plan to do in the next couple of days. Last year I had red hearts up on the wall and around my small Christmas tree to keep the Christmas spirit alive everywhere.

2) Christmas films!

I love a good Christmas film, my favourite being the Santa Clause movies all of them are so good, funny, magical and really make Christmas for me, they are usually on in the run up to Christmas if not I like to throw the DVD on and watch it again and again. I just love it!

3) Christmas Jumpers!

I love my Christmas jumpers I have a very good collection of these and I can safely say that I will be wearing them as soon as it hits the 1st of December. Christmas is officially here when it gets to that date.

4) Putting up the decorations.

As a family we tend to put the decorations up the first or second weekend of December depending on what day my mums birthday falls on. Only after her birthday are we allowed to put them up. Last year I had sole responsibility of the tree putting it up and decorating it and may I say it looked fab!

5) Getting people presents.

I love getting people presents it is definetly the best part of Christmas, over the last couple of years since I've been working I have been able to buy good quality presents for my family and this is my new favourite thing about the holiday season- thinking about it I need to start my shopping, going to do it all online this year for a change see if I am more successful!

wow...
now I really am feeling ready for the Christmas season. Not long now!!!!
