Step buy step guide: How to buy the right Christmas presents!

Hey guys,

The holiday season is approaching and shops are filling with all things festive. Which makes me so excited as this is my favourite time of year. But one thing that does stress me out is buying presents and getting the right presents for people and being certain that they will like it! But over the years I have picked up a few tips that really make it easier.

1) look at things that the person already has. Look at what might have nearly run out or is breaking. They are likely to be very grateful for a replacement or re-fill. Look at what things they have in their home, ask yourself what does this room need or look at reoccurring themes and colours. This is always helpful. Also note hobbies and things they enjoy you never know what you might find that relates to these.

2) look online. The best place to get ideas is online. Look at different websites. They are likely to give the inspiration you need to really wow your friends and family. Online stores also save a lot of time hunting. Even if you don't like buying online you can always see what you find and go pick on up in store and that way if you see it and are not 100% sure if they will like it you don't have to buy it. You can then rumage through the shops and see you discover.

3) pay attention to what they like. Before you buy presents take that the person into town or the city shoping centre and see what catches their eye. Look at what they look at and use this as a guideline to buy them the prefect present. Take them into different shops that they might not go into and see what they like. Then another time you can go and choose them a present you know they like.

4) money. If money is a problem make something home made and different.  Put together some pictures, make them a card. Or go online once again and compare prices or try and find a cheaper alternative. This will hopefully make you a little more relaxed.

5) get them now! Don't wait till you can't breath in the shops and the shelves are empty. This will just make you panic. I've got a lot of mine done already so gey started guys and girls!

Remember quality not quantity don't go over boards get something they are certain to like. Also try and make it personal. Don't get something because you like it get it because they will.

I hope these five steps have given you a little helping hand as to what to do when it comes to the festive season!

I'll be back each week with another festive related post all leading up to Christmas and New Year! It will be full of my favourites memories and other tips all relating to Christmas!

HAPPY SHOPPING!!!!
